Sunday Reset

I love using Sunday to “get my life back together.” Doing these small things makes me feel clean, pretty, organized, and healthy!

My day consists of a few simple steps that give me a fresh start to a new week. Believe it or not, you’ll actually start looking forward to doing it every week. Here's my list.

Sunday reset routine:

  1. Wake up, open the blinds and if it’s not too hot, open a window. Bring in some new fresh daylight/air to your morning.

  2. Light a candle. This seems silly, but having a fresh, clean scent wafting through your room brings you a sense of calmness and cleaning inspiration. Just trust on that. Lol.

  3. Laundry. Yepppp. Get er done. Whether it’s one load or four. You can’t feel “reset” without having it all washed and put away.

  4. While the laundry is washing - clean that dang room. Organize, dust, clean out a drawer, or whatever it may be.

  5. Take a shower. Clean off the wear and tear that the past week may have brought you. It’s Sunday. And you’re going to POP OFF this week.

  6. Whatever type of skin care/hair care/body care you don’t commit to doing every single day, do now. I love doing a thorough exfoliation on Sundays along with doing my eyebrows, braiding my hair, painting my nails, and putting on a fresh t-shirt.

  7. PLAN! I highly highly suggest getting a planner and filling out every commitment you have for the week. Get yourself on top of what you need to get done so you can be prepared and relax the rest of the day.

It’s so simple and I know these are basic things that we all already do anyways, but for some reason, it just feels good to have them all set on the same day. All it takes is one day to feel like your entire life comes together (and I guess it does because now you’re clean, organized, and ready to conquer your week!) YOU GOT THIS!
